On Sunday July 24th we hosted our first ever vintage wedding openday! The Trinity City Hotel welcomed dozens of guests who came to take a peek at some of our special spaces available to hold a unique urban celebration.
Beginning with drinks and canapés, the informative afternoon hosted by stylist supremo, Vintage Irene included short talks from some of the best in the wedding business. With Proseccos topped up, the afternoon unfolded in the stunning surrounds of Number 26, the intimate private dining room at Trinity City Hotel. Guests heard from Eva Power Photography on different styles of wedding photography followed by a floral masterclass by Floral Events with tips and advice on wedding flower trends this year.
Grooms-to-be had the opportunity to see a selection of suits from the super stylish collaboration between Louis Copeland and Darren Kennedy - with tips for groomsmen on trends in suiting.
There was a little breather and just enough time to enjoy some delicious canapés including traditional smoked salmon on homemade Guinness bread, smoked bacon and brie quiches and duck liver paté with pear and apricot compote.
Lucky guests feasted their eyes on a very special preview showing of the Papermoon Bridal Collection by Dirty Fabulous, due to launch in September 2016. This stunning vintage boutique is located a mere hop, skip and jump from Trinity City Hotel and the sisters behind the boutique, Kathy Sherry and Caroline Quinn, have designed the most wonderful vintage- style collection of dresses drawing inspiration from the 1930s through to the 1950s.
Along with the preview of Papermoon Bridal by Dirty Fabulous there was a selection of original vintage bridal gowns and taste of some bridesmaid looks too. Everything you need to have the chicest wedding party in town!
