If rugby and football is your thing, make sure to visit Aviva stadium. It is built on one of the oldest sporting grounds in Ireland, and has wonderful tour exploring over 150 years of sporting history. Did you know that the first ever international athletic meeting happened on Lansdowne Road in 1876? During the tour, you will get to see the press conference rooms and player dressing rooms, while learning about history of sport in Ireland.

Aviva is prime venue, used for football and rugby, but it also functions as a meeting venue and hosts some of the biggest concerts as well.

Aviva Stadium is located in a wonderful leafy area of Ballsbridge, and easily accessible from city centre Dublin.

By DART:
You will need to take any southbound DART to Grand Canal Dock Station. You can take DART train from Tara station, located just behind the hotel.

Bu Bus:
Dublin bus 4,7 and 8 from O’Connell street and O’Connell Bridge stop close to Aviva Stadium.

Walking:
Aviva stadium is around 30 minutes’ walk from city centre
