Situated in the West of Dublin, Phoenix Park is one of the biggest encased parks in any capital city in Europe. Originally utilized as Imperial Hunting grounds during the 1600s, was opened to the general population in 1747. The park is home to a group of wild deer that should be visible routinely in and around the park. Phoenix Park is also home to Dublin Zoo, Áras a Uachtaráin, and Victorian bloom gardens.
Phoenix Park is 1,750 acres in size and is available to the public 24 hours per day 7 days every week, lasting through the year.
